Over half of the female candidates fear their spoken language test will be affected by their appearance.

Human examiners are biased. A test taker's religion, make up, tattoos, sexual orientation, size or skin colour can influence the grade they're given. 

 

Pearson believes that no one's test results should be based on appearance. They use AI to assess language skills. AI doesn't see the woman taking the test, it just grades her language skills.
